Sourdough pizza bases, is there anything better than pizza on the weekend?
Not in our house! Almost every Friday night its pizza night and lately I’ve been jazzing it up and making a sourdough base.
Thanks for investing in the sourdough demonstration, here’s your bonus recipe.
Sourdough pizza bases:
- 230g bakers flour
- 110g water
- 50g sourdough starter
- 30g olive oil
Method:
mix flour, starter and oil together until it resembles breadcrumbs using a mixer, food processor or thermomixer, add in the water, mix further until a dough forms.
Divide in half, roll out into discs, prick the base all over with a fork, prebake at 180 deg C
